Most resorts offer the bride/groom free or deeply-discounted stay when a minimum group size is reached.

Resorts typically require 10 adult guests minimum for group rates and complimentary wedding ceremony extras. Smaller weddings are still possible — we just book individually and use a group welcome package.
12-18 months ahead is ideal. 9 months is workable. Under 6 months limits resort choice and group flight options.
