Direct sun routes from YYC

Sun packages,
straight from YYC.

Calgary has direct winter service to more sun destinations than most Canadians realise. These packages bundle the flight, the resort, the transfers, and the cover into one price and one invoice.

The difference between a good all-inclusive and a bad one is almost never the brochure. It is the resort's location relative to the airport, whether the beach is swimmable in your travel month, and whether the property has been renovated since the photos were taken. Package sites cannot tell you any of that. Agents who send clients there every week can.

We book these routes constantly from Calgary, which means our recommendations come from client feedback collected the same season, not from a supplier's marketing. If a resort has slipped, we will tell you and suggest the one next door.

Every package below includes return airfare from Calgary International, resort accommodation, airport transfers, and taxes. Travel insurance is quoted separately because the right policy depends on your age, your health, and your credit card's existing coverage — bundling it blindly is how people end up paying twice for cover they already had.

Peak weeks — Christmas, New Year, February school break, and Easter — sell out of the good room categories months ahead. If you are travelling then, book early and take the deposit option rather than waiting for a seat sale that historically does not come.

Is a package actually cheaper than booking separately?

On direct sun routes from Calgary, usually yes, because tour operators buy seat blocks and room blocks at rates that are not available retail. On routes without a charter operator, booking the flight and hotel separately often wins. We price both and tell you which.

What deposit is required?

Most tour operators hold a booking for a deposit of a few hundred dollars per person, with the balance due 45 to 60 days before departure. Peak-season bookings sometimes require a larger deposit.

Do I need travel insurance for an all-inclusive?

Provincial health coverage does not follow you outside Canada in any meaningful way. Medical cover is strongly recommended for every destination on this page. Cancellation cover is worth it if you are booking far ahead or travelling in hurricane season.

When is hurricane season in the Caribbean?

Officially June through November, with peak risk from mid-August to early October. Travel then is materially cheaper, and cancellation-and-interruption cover matters more.
