There is a practical difference between a travel agency and a travel agent, and it is the reason people still use us. An agency is a booking channel. An agent is a named person who knows that your mother uses a wheelchair, that your visa was refused two years ago and why, and that your return has to land before your daughter's exams start. That context is what makes the second booking faster than the first.
Wings Travels is deliberately small. Sumeet Singh Maroque founded the agency in 2015 and still handles a large share of files directly. When you call, you reach someone who can see your booking and make a decision, rather than an operator who opens a ticket for a team you will never speak to. For complicated family travel — multi-generation groups, mobility requirements, visa dependencies — that matters more than any price difference.
Our agents work in English, Punjabi, Hindi, and Urdu, and hold IATA accreditation with direct consolidator contracts across 320+ airlines. The accreditation is what lets us ticket directly rather than reselling someone else's booking; the consolidator contracts are what give us fare classes that public search engines are not permitted to display.

A search engine prices one leg at a time. An agent sees that your visa appointment is three weeks after your intended departure, or that your passport expires inside the six-month validity window your destination requires, and tells you before you pay.
When a connection collapses overnight, you are dealing with a queue at an unfamiliar airport or a person in Calgary with your booking already open. We rebook from here, and usually find a better routing than the desk will offer you.

It means we can issue airline tickets directly rather than reselling somebody else's booking. Practically, it means we can change, reissue, and refund your ticket ourselves instead of routing you through a third party when something goes wrong.
